Joburg buildings
This work of photographs is about the buildings in the city of joburg. These photographs draw on the texture of the buildings.
To many people, joburg has been that city that one can see their dream being fulfilled. Hence when democracy was born, there was a very large number of people from within South Africa and other African countries came to work and live in the city. The texture is somewhat a reflection of the occupants who occupy these buildings.This is what I find to be interesting, as a joburger, when walking within and around the city.
About Kutlwano Moagi
Kutlwano Moagi is a Photographer and an aspiring Jazz Upright Bassist. Born in soweto, 14 April 1983. Completed a photography learnership at the MArket Photo Workshop in 2005 and currently working and living in Joburg. HAs been part of numerous group exhibitions locally and internationally. He is very much interested in the city of joburg and exploring different modes and mediums of working within the city.
