Barney Cohen (53), former Drum magazine editor and chief executive officer of Urban Brew studios, dies in Johannesburg while undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. In 1991 he helped to start one of the first Black empowerment companies in SA with Danie Ferreira and John Matshikiza.
