Mrs. Sarojini Naidu

Mrs. Sarojini Naidu

To our dear kindred in South Africa we send our greetings of affection and our assurance of deep sympathy and unfailing support from India, the land of your forefathers, in your brave and non-violent struggle to establish your birthright in the far off country which is your true homeland and the heritage of your children.

We are confident that you will keep unsullied the honour and integrity of India and that you will conduct your Satyagraha in accordance with the high principles of unity, courage, faith and sacrifice taught you by our illustrious leader, Mahatma Gandhi, and realise to the full your desire and your human right to live, labour and progress like other communities in the beautiful and fruitful region which has a claim upon your service, your allegiance and your love.

Be true and noble South Africans and also be true and noble examples of those great ideals for which India has always stood for many thousands of years.
