IN THE BELIEF THAT ALL MEN HAVE THE RIGHT TO FREEDOM

We call on representatives of all citizens in every walk of life To the FIRST TRANSVAAL--ORANGE FREE STATE PEOPLE'S ASSEMBLY FOR VOTES FOR ALL

Our Object:

To rally to the Assembly delegates irrespective of race and colour from Transvaal and Orange Free State who will represent more citizens than those voting in the General Elections.

To demand for all South Africans of all races the democratic right to vote and be elected to the governing bodies of the country.

To challenge the election of the new Parliament by a minority of the people. To launch a campaign for the democratic principles of the United Nations Charter by promoting and encouraging

"respect for human rights and for fundamental freedom for all without dis­tinction as to race, sex, language or religion."
