Post-Apartheid protests

Apartheid has ended but the struggle for eighty percent of the country’s population, who are poor, continues. The poor and the marginalised in big cities and small towns have vented their anger at their poverty, lack of basic social services and the rise of corruption amongst local and national officials, by mounting spontaneous and at times violent protests actions.
