On 30 July 1998, 2 members of the People Against Gangsterism and Drugs (PAGAD) were killed in Wetton, Cape Town. Nurulla Allie and Faizel Hendricks died and two other people were injured when a pipe bomb exploded in their light delivery vehicle.
