Beverly Mashinini wins a bronze medal

A 23-year-old Pretoria girl, Beverly Mashinini, won a bronze medal in Athens, Greece. She was a member of the South African Paralympic team Amakrokokroko, which participated in 12 th Paralympic games in Athens in 2004. These games brought together about 4000 athletes from 143 countries. Mashinini competed in two sporting codes Discus and Javelin. She won her medal in Javelin.
