Maxwell Mlilo, South African actor, dies of diabetes

Well known television actor and longtime diabetes sufferer Maxwell Mlilo died on 22 June 2006. The veteran actor had been on South African Screens for decades. He appeared in many local productions like the soapie Generations, and local dramas like Tsha Tsha and Home Affairs. Just before his death, Mlilo was well known for his role as Ngconde in the local sitcom Emzini Wezinsizwa. Mlilo was only 48 when he died. His family described him as very funny and full of life.
