In an open letter to the government, financial services group PSG comes out in support of First National Bank's (FNB) aborted campaign against crime by challenging the government to "show us you care, that you are serious about eradicating crime". In the letter it says it is proud to be "a new South Africa company" and points out that the advent of democracy had been good for the company. The group and its subsidiaries have created more than 3 500 jobs.
