Thabo Mbeki
Date: 18 June, 1942
President of South Africa and African National Congress president, Thabo Mvuyelwa Mbeki, was born in Idutywa in the Transkei to political activists Epainette and Govan Mbeki. He was one of four children and grew up in the Transkei.
