Two South Africans of Indian descent, including the granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi, are told they could not travel to New Delhi to attend the funeral of Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Officials of the Natal Indian Congress (NIC) said Farouk Meer and Ela Ramgobin, both opponents of South Africa's apartheid, were denied passports.
