Date: 4 February, 1954

Vincent Baloyi, SA artist, is born in Newclare, Johannesburg. He joined the National Arts Society and the SAAA, taught art at the Open School (1981-1986), and joined FUBA (1987). Baloyi joined FUNDA as guest artist (1986) where he is technical assistant and periodically teaches sculpture.
