Yusuf Dadoo: Bafa Begiya - A thesis submitted to the Facility of Arts, University of the Witwatersrand in fulfilment of the requirements of the degree of Masters by Research in Political Studies by Shauna Mottiar
Within the field of political biography, Yusuf Dadoo is an interesting study. His political career spans the spectrum. Politicised from an early age, he grew up in a small Transvaal mining town where racial divisions were marked, witnessing his own father's battle with segregation he then schooled in India where he encountered the growing nationalism among the youth who were influenced by Gandhi, completing his medical degree in England he came under the influence of the communists and the anti imperialists.
