The use of tik

Tik is a big problem in our communities around Cape Town – especially the Cape Flats. The use of this drug can be one of many steps leading men and women onto a path of criminal activities. My research showed that tik it the most widely used drugs in the cape flats. With this ongoing photo essay I hope to document what the people addicted to tik are doing in order to sustain their addiction to this drug. Also I will explore how these people’s activities affect our communities.
