The Christian Institute appealed to Prime Minister John Vorster, asking him to reconsider the withdrawal or confiscation of the passports of six of its leaders, including that of Dr. Beyers Naude. Naude was refused a passport to travel to London to address the Royal Institute of International Affairs.
