The thirteenth address in the Hoernle Memorial Lecture series delivered by professor B.B. Keet in which he examines the ethics of apartheid, and detailing the use of the term apartheid in South Africa, which stands for a government policy that seeks by legislation, to politically, economically and socially to segregate the people of South Africa according to racial groups. The author questions South Africas development towards racial co-operation in a multi-racial country and the possibilities of change.
