Born in 1923. Moosa was a medical practitioner. He was educated at Fort Hare and the University of Cape Town (UCT) and was active in the political movement since his student days. Moosa was an executive member of the Franchise Action Council (FAC) and vice-president of the Cape Indian Assembly.
