SAHO Commemorates 40 Years since Soweto Uprising: Intergenerational Dialogue

South African History Online (SAHO) is hosting an intergenerational dialogue to commemorate 40 years since the Soweto Student Uprising. The dialogue consists of a series of open letters between the generation of student activists from 1976 and the current generation of student activists. The project includes a series of open letters that will be followed by response letters by participants and other student activists.

Student activists are encouraged to follow the project and submit response letters to become part of the open dialogue which will be on-going for an undesignated time.

The project also encourages the engagement of the general public through social media and will operate under the banner #intergenerational and will be shared on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and the SAHO website.
