Matthews Mapumolo, an African National Congress (ANC) member, dies in police custody after he had been confronted at home in Swaziland by a group of armed men. He was shot and, while wounded, abducted to SA. Mapumolo was one of hundreds of people who died in detention or who died in the liberation struggle against apartheid.
