South Africa national soccer team, Bafana Bafana played England star-studded team in a friendly international match at Absa Stadium in Durban. The match was to mark South Africa's campaign to host World Cup finals in 2010. The England team was composed of highly rated world-class players including their captain David Beckham. The halftime score was 1-1 with England opening score in the first minute of the game through the header of Gareth Southgate. Bafana Bafana restored parity in the 17th minute through the penalty scored by Benni McCarthy after England defender Danny Mills handled in the penalty box . The Mauritian referee Lim Kee Chong cautioned Mills for the incidence. The England team took the lead again after the Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Brian Baloyi spilt the ball on the path of Emile Heskey who guided the ball into an empty net for England's winner.
