Ellen Khuzwayo is born

Dr Nnoseng Ellen Kate Khuzwayo, ANC member of parliament and noted writer of Call me Woman (winner of CNA Award 1985, translated into six European languages) and other books, was born in Thaba-Nchu in the Orange Free State. She was principal actor in a documentary, Tshiamelo - Place of Goodness, that received first prize at the Creteil Film Festival in Paris, France.
