PFP Leader Colin Wells Eglin born

Founding member of the Progressive Federal Party (PFP), Colin Wells Eglin was born in Sea Point, Cape Town. During his political career, Eglin was instrumental in the merging of the Progressive Federal Party, Independent Party and National Democratic Movement to form the Democratic Party (DP) on 8 April 1989 as opposition to the National Party (NP) in parliament.
