Phyllis Naidoo escapes to Lesotho

With her underground cell arrested and detained, Phyllis Naidoo escaped to Lesotho along a new route established by Omar Badsha, Richard (Rick) Turner and others. In Lesotho she joined the African National Congress (ANC) and was involved in providing for children who had left South Africa, assisted members of the SACP and ANC to escape from South Africa and supported them in Lesotho. She returned to South Africa in 1990.
