SABC personality Nic Swanepoel dies

SA radio broadcaster and TV newsreader Nic Swanepoel passed away after suffering a stroke. Swanepoel, a qualified teacher, worked at the South African Broadcasting Cooperation (SABC) for a period of thirty-three years before he retired in 1995. During his flourishing career, Swanepoel was awarded numerous prizes for his outstanding radio drama scripts.
