Sewsunkerlal Bahadur Singh, champion for the poor and social worker, died in Durban. He was born in 1890 and played an active role in SA sports as, inter alia, president of the South African Football Association (SAFA).  Singh was also a regular contributor to the sports page of the Natal Daily News.
