SuperSport United coach Pitso Mosimane was fined R50 000 at a Premier Soccer League (PSL) disciplinary hearing. This followed after his heated altercation with Sundowns' coach, Angel Cappa, during the recent 2-2 Premier League derby draw against Sundowns at Loftus Stadium, Pretoria. In addition to the fine, PSL ordered him to make a public apology for his role in the occurrence. Mosimane appeared before the committee on two charges, one of bringing the PSL into disrepute and another of interrupting the normal flow of play during the game. He pleaded guilty on both counts. SuperSport was fined R10 000, which was suspended. The case against Cappa, who did not appear at the disciplinary hearing, was postponed until 28 November at Sundowns' request.
