South Africa will subscribe to the UDHR

SA's newly inaugurated state president, Nelson Mandela, announced in his first State of the Nation Address to Parliament that South Africa will subscribe to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and accede to human rights conventions of the United Nations (UN).
