9 June 1990
A United Nations (UN) team, led by Mr. Abdulrahim Abby Farah, under-secretary-general, visited South Africa from 9 to 10 June to meet representatives of the Government, political parties and organisations. The delegation aimed to gather factual information on recent measures taken and proposals made for bringing about an end to the apartheid system.
