Jonas Dinous Matlou

Born in 1920 Matlou was an insurance land agent by occupation. He was a member of the early African National Congress. He became an ANC organizer in Sophiatown, Johannesburg and was a defendant in the Treason Trial from December 1956 until late 1958. He left South Africa after the Sharpeville emergency and subsequently worked with the ANC in Ghana, Algeria and Tanzania.
