Springbokpark

This park is located between Schoeman and Pretorius Streets in Hatfield and was declared a national monument in 1979. It was initially planted in 1905 while W.H. Lanham was planning the suburb of Hatfield.

A stream flows through the grounds and some fine indigenous trees from all over the South Africa, especially the white stinkhout (Celtis africana) and sweet thorn (Acacia karoo) can be seen.
