Van den Berg Clive was born in Zambia. He studied at UN(P) and obtained a BA(FA). He lectured in Art History at UN(P) in 1982. From 1983 he was a lecturer at the Technikon Natal. He has won a number of awards and has undertaken public commissions. He has exhibited on numerous group shows and has a number of solo exhibitions. His work is represented in public and private collections in SA and abroad.
