Author and zoologist, first women to recieve a doctorate from Stellenbosch University

Latsky was an author and zoologist. She studied at the University of Stellenbosch, and was the first woman to be awarded a doctorate at this university. She later lectured at Potchefstroom University College and did research. She died in 1980.
