Victor Shange was born in Ntuzuma, KwaZulu-Natal in 1958. Victor showed keen interest in art at the tender age of 6 and his talent developed as he grew until he could paint.
Shange later became a full time artist. His work depicts landscapes of KwaZulu Natal and the rural environment, the township environment and changes in the environment made by settlement and industrial installations among others. His work is represented in public and private collections in SA.
Shange lives in Ntuzuma which is near Durban with his wife and two sons.
