The Black Conciousness movement appears to be gaining strength, despite the banning of most of its prominent members. Two of the more conservative homeland leaders have been voted out of office. The Leaders are voiving the dmeands of their people with increasing forthwrightness and to wider audiences. Serious unrest has continued at black universities. Guerilla activities in Rhodesia and Mozambique, aimed ultimately at the Republic itself, have been intensified.
