Organisations involved in the Women’s struggle, 1900-1994

Among the organisations listed here are those that served to mobilise women for action during the struggle, as well as more contemporary organisations that strive to promote gender equality and development amongst women.

Many of the organisations formed to mobilise women for action during the struggle have disbanded with the end of Apartheid.
