Sofia Pullen is originally from Matamoros, Mexico, but has lived almost all her life in Texas. From 2011 to 2015, Sofia attended The Lawrenceville School, one of the top ten boarding schools in the United States. It was there that Sofia learned the importance of equality and positive social change. Sofia is now a sophomore studying Electrical Engineering with a minor in Math and Computer Science at Southern Methodist University. She is a part of the University Honors Program and Rotunda Academic Honors. She is also a Vice President in her residential commons and is Chief Marketing Officer of Mexican Entrepreneur Association. Sofia hopes to work in the engineering field in the future, while still being able to fight for equality in the United States.
