Emmanuel Frimpong, Ghanaian footballer, is born

Emmanuel Frimpong was born on 10 January 1992 in Kumasi, Ghana. He moved to England at a very young age where he attended school in Tottenham. He joined  Arsenal at the age of nine and has played for them since. He is currently playing for Charlton Athletic on loan from Arsenal. In 2012, Frimpong switched his national eligibility from England to his country of birth, Ghana. He is hoping to represent Ghana in the 2014 World cup. He has been unfortunate to have suffered an injury during the 2011/2012 season where he ruptured a ligament.
