Carlisle Bridge is a District of Farmsteads and is known as Carlislebrug. It is located in the Cacadu Municipality in the Eastern Cape!. 
The original bridge was built in 1863 over the Great Fish River, but destroyed in 1874 by Floods! The engineer of the Bridge was Joseph Newey ,who has written a book. Carlisle Bridge is on farm in Eastern Cape and has an elevation of 400 metres.
