Ma Baloi as she was fondly addressed, was born on 8 August 1936. She lived in the region of Dunn, in Ward fourteen. She was a very energetic woman. When discussions on inco-operating Bantustans back into South Africa were held, Margareth was convinced that she had now found a home where she rightfully belonged. She took a firm decision to play her part to help bring about a better life for all people. In 1990, Margareth joined the ANC at the former Dunn Branch, now known as Forant Mathebula Branch.
