Mama Winnie Madikizela-Mandela was admitted at the Johannesburg Hospital on Saturday as a result of a pain in her ankle. She was checked by doctors and subsequently she underwent a minor foot operation which was successful. She is currently recuperation well and she is under the doctors observation.
The ANC wishes her speedy recovery.
